The parish council works closely with local, regional and national agencies to further and safeguard the interests of the parish and residents. Recent and ongoing campaigns include

• Rushcliffe BC proposals to build 3,000 houses in the parish
• Highways Agency and the widening of the A453, general information and maps available.  It is also possible to sign up for free email traffic alerts.
• Nottinghamshire CC proposal to include the Trent Valley as a suitable area for gravel extraction.
